HARDY is celebrating a whopping seven ACM nominations this year and he’s hoping that’ll finally get him the attention he’s longing for from two major Country artists.

LISTEN NOW: HARDY calls out Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney

It’s no secret HARDY is one of the hottest songwriters in town as he’s written big time songs for artists including Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line, Breland, Chris Lane, Dylan Scott, Cole Swindell and many more. While there’s a long list of artists who have been happy to snag one of his songs, the “Wait in the Truck” singer-songwriter says he has his eyes on two who have not even come close… yet.

Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw are two people I haven’t even gotten close to getting a cut with,” he told KSON’s John and Tammy in the Morning. “I would love either one of those two to cut my songs. They need to join the club.”

As he waits for calls from Chesney and McGraw, HARDY has plenty to celebrate with two nominations in the Song of the Year category alone at this year’s ACM Awards. Nominated as a songwriter on Morgan Wallen’s “Sand In My Boots,” and singer-songwriter with “Wait in the Truck,” there’s a good chance the 32-year-old will walk away with the prize he’s hoping for most.

“Song of the Year, no question,” HARDY said when asked which award he wanted to take home if it could only be one. “I would want it to be 'wait in the truck' over 'Sand In My Boots,' obviously.”

Tune in to see if HARDY takes home the big win by tuning into The 58th Annual ACM Awards, hosted by Dolly Parton, and Garth Brooks on May 11, 2023 from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, TX. The show will be exclusively broadcast live via Amazon’s Prime Video.
