WAUKEGAN (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Waukegan police are looking for a motorist responsible for a hit-and-run death over the weekend.
Waukegan police said that late Saturday night a man was hit by a car in the 3000 block of Washington Street near Green Bay Road. He was transported to Vista Medical Center where he died.
The driver of the car did not remain at the scene. And, about a half hour after the hit-and-run, the car was reported stolen.
The vehicle was located early Sunday morning. Investigators were processing it for evidence. Police said the identity of the victim is not yet known either.
