
SKOKIE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - The FBI is investigating a bank robbery that occurred Monday in Skokie.
It happened at a Chase Bank branch near Lincoln Avenue and Oakton Street at about 10:20 a.m.
The man approached a teller and implied he had a gun, according to the FBI. Images of the man from a surveillance camera are pretty clear.
The FBI said the man had been at the library before the robbery. The getaway car was a CTA bus, #1547, Route 97.
He’s described as a Black man, with a thin build, and in his mid 20s.

He wore a stocking hat, sun glasses, a dark down coat with a gray and black checkered hoodie underneath. He also had on black Dr. Marten boots.
