CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police are investigating the shooting of a woman in the Hermosa neighborhood.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a person shot in a residence on Palmer Street between Pulaski and Keystone at about 8:40 p.m.
A 44-year-old woman was found on the floor in a bedroom. Police said she was shot in the chest, back and right wrist.
She was taken to Illinois Masonic in critical condition. What happened is unclear.
Police say the circumstances are unknown and no one is in custody at this time.
