Jonathan Yaskiewicz of Jonathan's Nest in West Hazleton, could not be more grateful that the struggle of local restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic is known.
Jonathan's Nest has been in business for 34 years. Jonathan's father started the business, but passed away unexpectedly in 2017. Jonathan continued his legacy by request of the faithful customers, and chose to keep the restaurant going. They were doing very well ... until the pandemic. Jonathan's Nest enjoys being part of the community and donates to organizations like the West Hazleton Crime Watch and the Little League.
Through the pandemic, they've done and continue to do EVERYTHING possible to keep the doors open. It's been a daily struggle, but they believe there's light at the end of the tunnel.
