Taylor Swift's Father Fought Off Florida Intruder, Later Picked Him Out of Lineup

Taylor Swift's father was involved in a scary incident at his St. Petersburg, Florida, apartment last month, according to the Tampa Bay Times. On January 17, Scott Swift returned home to find 30-year-old Terrence Hoover inside after Hoover used a fire escape to climb up to the penthouse. The two fought before Hoover, who has a lengthy criminal record, left. Police were finally able to capture and arrest Hoover last week on burglary charges, and Swift was able to identify him out of a lineup. It's unclear at this time whether Hoover had targeted Swift.
