These Sacramento 24 Hour Fitness Locations Are Closing

Several Sacramento area 24 Hour Fitness locations are closing for good amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

After weeks of speculation whether 24 Hour Fitness was ever actually going to reopen, the company has filed for bancruptcy and confirmed that it will close over 100 of its locations, Fox 40 reports. 

These are the planned closures in the Sacramento area: 

  • Carmichael Active, Arden Way
  • Vallejo, Sonoma Boulevard
  • Solano Mall, Gateway Boulevard
  • Benjamin Holt Sport, Benjamin Holt Drive
  • Manteca, North Main Street

Fox 40 also says the remaining clubs are expected to reopen by the end of June or early July. 

Do you feel ready to get back into the gym after months of closure? Because of the capacity restrictions, I think I'll wait this one out for another couple months. I feel safe going shopping again, but there's something about sweaty gyms that just doesn't feel clean to me right now. What about you?
