Singer and songwriter Willow Smith, now going by simply WILLOW for her latest album release, is shedding off more than just her famous last name.

At the very end of the mini-movie which featured performances of songs new and old, as the band rocks to her 2010 single "Whip My Hair," Willow, while playing the guitar, gets her head shaved in epic fashion. In a behind-the-scenes clip, Willow revealed her plan saying, "this is gonna be my third time in my life shaving my head. I'm always shaving my head at monumental times in my life, when things are really changing. And this is definitely one of those moments."

Later, on an episode of her Red Table Talk podcast, Willow said she felt like she "was just shedding a lot of history and emotional baggage... Six, seven years of emotion, I just let it go." It should be mentioned that Willow recently convinced her mother, Jada Pinkett-Smith, that she should shave her own head... and it worked. "Willow made me do it because it was time to let go BUT… my 50’s are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed," Jada announced on social media after the cut.

WILLOW just released her latest album lately I feel EVERYTHING, "a musical expression of trying to perceive both joy and pain through an equally compassionate and playful lens,” as she puts it.

With the official album drop, fans were treated to the highly-anticipated new single "G R O W" featuring Avril Lavigne and Travis Barker on drums.
