What do you do with a retired Boeing 747? Turn it into a Jumbo Stay. A 1976 jumbo jet model 747-212B for Singapore Airlines was turned into a hotel at the Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The remodel included taking 450 flight seats out, repairing the interior, then converting the airplane into a 33-room hotel. The penthouse of the Jumbo Stay would be the cockpit suite for two with it's own bathroom and TV. Fabulous views of the airport action too.
Jumbo Stay celebrated their 10th Anniversary in 2019! The goal is to continue to create more Jumbo Stays at larger airports. Providing travelers a unique experience in a plane that wouldn't happen just napping on the way to a destination. Could you see yourself chillin' at the Jumbo Stay?
