The cast led by Chris Evans, Anya Taylor-Joy, Salma Hayek, and Sam Richardson, also stars, Vincent Cassel (La Haine), John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich), Ambika Mod (One Day), Jade Croot (The Serpent Queen), Jeremy O. Harris (Emily in Paris) and recent Tony winner Miriam Silverman (Your Friends and Neighbors).

Loosely inspired by the Joan Of Arc story, Sacrifice, Gavras’ English-language debut, is described as telling the story of Joan (Taylor-Joy), a zealous spirit driven by a volcanic prophecy only she can hear, who is on a mission to save the world from a fiery reckoning. Along with her militia of mystical disciples, she hijacks a glamorous charity gala and takes three hostages: Mike Tyler (Evans), a beleaguered movie star desperate for redemption, Bracken (Cassel), the world’s richest man, and Katie (Mod), who’s just unlucky. They are forced on a journey through forest and fire until Mike faces the ultimate question: what would he sacrifice for humanity?

Not new to acting, Charli's been boosting that side of her resume as of late, though most of those films and series have not yet released. In addition to Sacrifice, she’s also slated to appear in Faces of DeathI Want Your SexErupcja100 Nights of Hero, and Overcompensating. She’s also scheduled to be the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live on November 16.

While, Yung Lean, who released his latest album, Psykos, in March, and has previously been the subject of his 2020 documentary Yung Lean: In My Head, will be making his acting debut in the feature film.
