The “Law & Order” stars, Meloni who plays Elliott Stabler, and Hargitay, who stars as Olivia Benson, got an opportunity to take a break from filming.
When the 60-year-old actor arrives at the Grey Goose box at the US Open, he surprised his 57-year-old costar by greeting her with a friendly kiss. Reports say Hargitay knew that the actor would be at the game but didn’t realize they would be sitting in the same area, according to People.
Both Meloni and Hargitay attended the US Open to watch Novak Djokovic compete against Alexander Zverev.
Hargitay sat next to her husband, Peter Hermann, while Meloni and his wife, Sherman Williams, sat behind them during the game.
Hargitay and Meloni are known for making fans on social media happy as they continue to make surprising appearances with each other. However, they both also like to tease many on the their accounts.

Last month, Meloni put “Law & Order” fans in a frenzy after posting a very up close and personal snap alongside his franchise costar.
In the photo, Meloni and Hargitay stare at each other with their faces almost touching. In the scandalous picture, in which the background looks like an abandoned industrial building, it seems that the two stars were going in for a smooch.
The “Law & Order: Organized Crime” actor shared the photo with a caption that read, “#rehearsing what @Mariska ?”
The 57-year-old “Law & Order: SVU” actress responded by retweeting the snap and adding to the flirtatious vibe.
“Are you blushing? it’s getting hot in here,” she wrote while including the fire emoji and tagging Meloni.
“Law & Order” fans were utterly overwhelmed by the steamy encounter.
“STOP OH MY GOD,” wrote one follower.
“ PLEASE I AM DEFINITELY SENDING YOU MY FUNERAL BILL NOW,” added another fan.
“I AM SCREAMING THIS IS ALL TOO MUCHHHHH,” a third commented.
