Hulu is preparing to bring one of Hollywood’s most iconic and incendiary couple’s story, and their celebrity sex tape scandal that caused a ripple effect in the industry, to the streaming service.
Lily James of Baby Driver and Mamma Mia! fame will fill the role of former Baywatch star and model Pamela Anderson, while Sebastian Stan who plays the Winter Soldier in the expansive Marvel film universe will fill the shoes of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee. The new limited series which is set to begin filming in Spring 2021 currently has the working title, Pam & Tommy.

Apparently, Anderson and Lee are not involved in the project which will mainly focus on the couple’s whirlwind relationship.
It all began with the high-profile celebs tying the knot in 1995, after only knowing each other for 96 hours. When a sex tape from their honeymoon was stolen and leaked to the public, a legal dispute followed and Anderson sued the distribution company that facilitated its release. Eventually, a settlement was reached between all parties, making the tape available for consumption once again.

Actor Seth Rogen, who is also producing the series, will play the man who stole the now-famous sex tape. Director Craig Gillespie, who had worked with Stan previously on the Tonya Harding story I, Tonya will steer this ship.
