(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- An Apple accessory to help find lost keys has helped law enforcement put two people behind bars and recover hundreds of thousands of dollars in stolen cash.
It's the Apple AirTag -- a tracking device.
And federal authorities say when an armored car was robbed outside a Jewel store in Homewood Tuesday morning -- and more than a million dollars was taken -- they were able to track down the stolen money bags because there was an AirTag concealed in one of those bags.
On Wednesday, two men -- 26-year-old Devonte Davis and 18-year-old Darrell Singleton -- were arrested at a home in Chicago's Calumet Park neighborhood.
Authorities say one of the men was wanted for another armored car robbery last fall.
