The Yankees acquired outfielder Tim Locastro from the Los Angeles Dodgers for minor league right-handed pitcher Drew Finley and $75,000 on Wednesday.
Locastro has appeared in 21 career MLB games since 2017. The 26-year-old is a career .167 batter. He has stolen five career bases and has not been caught stealing.
In 2018, Locastro spent most of the season at Triple-A Oklahoma City -- batting .286 with 23 doubles, four home runs, 29 RBIs and 19 stolen bases.
Locastro is a native of Auburn, New York and played his college ball at Ithaca College.
