The record for the most expensive trading card EVER just got smashed. A 1952 Topps MICKEY MANTLE card was purchased for $5.2 MILLION.
The buyer was Rob Gough, an actor and entrepreneur who owns the DOPE clothing and CBD line.
The previous record was set in 2020, when somebody paid $3.93 million for an autographed 2009 MIKE TROUT draft prospects card.
