NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Rockaway Beach was closed to swimmers on Wednesday following multiple shark sightings, according to officials.
Swimmers were yanked from the waters around 3 p.m. after police spotted sharks along the length of the beach, a Parks Department representative said.
