The “Dr. Oz Show” just celebrated its 2000th show on February 4th after 12 years on the air! Dr. Mehmet Oz checked in with Scott Shannon & Patty Steele to talk about this great achievement, his upcoming turn hosting Jeopardy!, and his #MoreBlackDoctors campaign.

We were so excited to see Dr. Oz was listed as one of the upcoming guest hosts on Jeopardy! and he gave us the lowdown on his experience! “It’s two weeks of shows, It’s gonna air in March,” Dr. Oz tells us, and he was in awe of how Jeopardy! functions.

“That is a tough show to host,” he says, “you have to know those answers cold, so you can quickly judge if it’s wrong, right, or close.” He continues “They have some fantastic people who are so smart, they are so meticulous in how they get their answers… It’s so beautiful to watch this in motion, and you realize Alex (Trebek) built it.”

Dr. Oz has a Zoom webinar tonight (February 9th) at 7PM in support of his #MoreBlackDoctors campaign, to help support and advocate for more diversity in medicine and combat racial bias. Dr. Ian Smith will be a guest tonight.
