PHOTOS: Queens swingers club busted for violating COVID restrictions

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A swingers club in Queens was broken up by NYC Sheriff deputies early Sunday morning for violating the state’s emergency COVID orders, authorities said.

The Sheriff’s Office said the bust went down just after midnight at 40-19 20th Ave. in Ditmars Steinway.

The address is listed as Caligula, described on its Facebook page as a “private upscale on-premise swingers club catering to people in the swing lifestyle.”

Deputies found over 80 people at the club in violation of the state’s emergency orders limiting gatherings, authorities said.

The club was also allegedly serving alcohol and warehousing liquor without a liquor license.

Two organizers and one patron were charged with multiple misdemeanors, authorities said.
