When the Rangers resume play on Feb. 15, they will likely have their top defenseman back in the fold.
The team announced Wednesday that Adam Fox has returned from IR after being placed on the injured reserve on Jan. 28 due to an upper-body injury suffered against the Blue Jackets last month.

Because of the All-Star break, Fox missed just three games, the minimum required for IR placements
The reigning Norris Trophy winner has logged seven goals this season, just one shy of his previous career high, while his 47 points already tied his career best from last season. He will provide a big boost to a New York team looking to solidify its spot atop the Metropolitan Division once action resumes against the Bruins next week.
