
East Lyme, Conn./WTIC Radio - The suspended police chief of East Lyme has been arrested again by state police.
Troopers say Michael Finkelstein, 53, is charged with violating a protective order and disorderly conduct.
It was June 18th that Finkelstein was arrested in connection with a domestic disturbancce.
He was arrested earlier this month, on June 5th for allegedly striking his wife.
In new warrants, police say Finkelstein was asked if he had any weapons during the June 5th investigation, to which the chief responded only his duty weapon.
It was later learned, troopers say, the Finkelstein had two other weapons that were registered to him.
The warrants state police were called to a June 18th domestic disturbance.
Finkelstein is due back in court July 29.
