Naugatuck, Conn./WTIC Radio - Detectives have made an arrest in a case of illegal dumping in Naugatuck and are seeking a second suspect.
Police say the investigation started late last month when a witness reported the suspects dumping about 100 tires from a U-Haul truck on to a commercial property at 397 Prospect Street.
The suspects are identified as Andrew Gonzalez, 32, of Terryville and Lavon Spradley, 22, of Bridgeport.
According to police, both suspects were involved in multiple dumping incidents in the past.
Spradley was arrested on Friday.
Gonzalez remains at large.
Both are facing illegal dumping and conspiracy charges.
