New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - A man is in the hospital following a shooting in New Haven.
Officers were dispatched to Yale-New Haven Hospital around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The victim was transported to the hospital via private vehicle, police said.
They say a 36-year-old Bridgeport resident sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.
The injury is believed to be non life-threatening.
Detectives say the man and a companion have given conflicting accounts to what led to teh shooting, adding that no crime scene was located and it's not clear where the shooting took place.
The investigation is ongoing.
