Wolcott, Conn./WTIC Radio - A volunteer member a Parent-Teacher Organization in West Hartford is facing charges that she allegedly stole funds from the organization.
Under arrest is Jennifer McAdam, 43, of West Hartford.
It was November of last year that officials with the Wolcott School PTO reported irregularities regarding it's finances.
Police launched an investigation that led them to McAdam.
Investigators obtained an arrest warrant and took McAdam into custody on Wednesday.
She faces charges of larceny and illegal use of payment card.
McAdam is free on $25,000 bond and due in court March 20.
The amount of money taken was not released.
