West Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - In West Hartford, police say a man who was struck by a vehicle in town last week has died.
A person called 911 to report a male in the roadway just after 2:00 a.m. on June 7th.
The victim, John Marczak, 44, of Plainville, was struck on South Main Street.
He was unresponsive when police and emergency personnel arrived on scene.
Marczak died June 10th from his injuries, say police.
They also say the vehicle that struck Marczak had left the scene by the time they arrived.
Police later arrested Juan Pablo Novoa, 22, of Cromwell and charged him with evading responsibility and other offenses.
